Inspiring Women of Moyne 2025

This February 28th, Moyne Shire Council will celebrate International Women’s Day with a special evening event at Charlie’s on East, Port Fairy. This event is an opportunity to create a more inclusive environment for women in our region and highlight the valuable contributions women make to our local community.

The event will be hosted by Moyne Shire Mayor, Cr Karen Foster, with a special guest speaker (TBD).

To mark this important day, Council will once again honour women in the community through our annual ‘Inspiring Women of Moyne’ awards. These awards, nominated by community members, aim to recognise and celebrate women from all walks of life who make meaningful contributions to our community – whether through their work, studies, families, relationships, or community involvement.

This is a free community event, hosted by Moyne Shire Council, with canapés and champagne served from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
