Are you a visual artist or collective looking to branch into gallery installation? Have you been invited to exhibit in a space but are expected to install your own work?

Join Lucy Allinson for a workshop designed to demystify the role of the gallery technician, offering key advice on displaying your work to industry standards. Packed with information on equipment, logistics, and protocols, this session is perfect for artists looking to transform a space into an exhibition.

If you're planning to submit work to After Walter Hopps, bring it in—Lucy might be able to use it in the practical demonstration part of the workshop.

Lucy Allinson is a multidisciplinary artist and Geelong local, working with a range of media including sound, installation, painting, photography, and sculpture. Lucy has extensive experience as a gallery technician with many galleries and artist-run spaces, including: ACMI, Geelong Gallery, Platform Arts, Hue & Cry, National Wool Museum, and more.
