INSTRUCTIONS ENCLOSED: A LIFE IN MEMORIUM
One human, so many loose ends.
By Backbone Ensemble 2025
Instructions Enclosed: A Life in Memoriam is an anthology of stories exploring the legacy we leave behind once we’re no longer there to shape how we’re remembered. Join a cast of eclectic misfits as they try to unravel the eccentric Kal by tugging on the loose threads he left behind. If legacy is an act of vanity, what happens when only the vain are left to decide its shape? Old friendships and forgotten entanglements crawl out of the woodwork to reveal secrets and stake their claims. In the end - does any of it really matter?
A new work devised by the 2025 Backbone Ensemble, Instructions Enclosed: A Life in Memoriam, is the product of the 18- to 30-year-old artists that gather at the Seven Hills Hub every Tuesday to learn, collaborate, and create.
