Event description
A casual Tarot circle for members and friends of The Somatic Coven! Each lunar cycle at the Waning Half Moon, we will gather to build relationships with the Cards and with one another. Our time together will include no-pressure group readings, somatic exploration of tarotist archetypes, and casual conversation.
Friends with ANY amount of experience with Tarot can participate in full! Our emphasis is NOT on standardized Tarot teachings-- rather, we seek to build our own unique embodied comprehensions of the Cards and our practices with them.
All you need to bring is kindness, attention, and a deck! If you'd like, you might also bring your Tarot journal if you keep one, or any Tarot literature that has sparked your interest or served your practice.
Our meetings will take place on Zoom through the winter season, so we ask that you log in from a place that allows your attention to remain on the group. Video is a challenging medium through which to connect authentically, so please commit to not be dividing your attention among other activities during our time together.
A NOTE ABOUT SCHEDULE:
This gathering's adherence to the lunar cycle intentionally lands it on various days of the week each month, thus hopefully creating more calendar spaciousness for as many of our members to participate as possible. If there is a strong appetite for an additional circle, we will discuss meeting twice per month!
