Integrity Policy Workshop

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Restoring integrity to politics is one of my main priorities as the new Federal Member for Curtin - a concern deeply shared by the Curtin community.

The Government's National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Bill was recently introduced to Parliament and is a key piece in restoring public faith in government. The Bill is currently open for public comment. I want to ensure that the submission I make on behalf of Curtin truly represents the views and concerns of my community.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn about the key components of the NACC, such as powers of investigation, public hearings and whistle-blower protections. No prior knowledge is required.

You will be able to ask questions, give feedback and make suggestions about how the NACC could be improved. You will have the chance to discuss your thoughts with other community members as well as volunteer experts who are across the details of the NACC.

Together, we can ensure that the NACC is as robust and effective as possible.

Where: The Boulevard Centre, below the Cambridge Library

When: Thursday 13 October 6.00pm - 7.30pm
