Learn how to read and write the Tibetan language, and start doing your prayers in Tibetan! This Tibetan Language Course is run by Lama Choedak Rinpoche.

This annual course is a great way to learn Tibetan! It is also very helpful to brush up on your Tibetan if you have learnt the language before.

Suitable for all levels of students!

Lama Choedak will teach beginners to read and write the script, and guidance will also be given to more advanced students to go forward in their language skills.

With Lama Choedak's guidance, students will receive this special language teaching, which will provide an equal focus on reading, writing, grammar, translation, conversation and all aspects of the language.

Interstate students must make their own travel and housing arrangements; billeting may be an option if you do not have a vehicle.

The cost of the course is the same for in-person and online attendance, as no accommodation or food is included in the in-person option.

• 5 days: $280.00 ($56.00 per day)

• Any days over 5: an extra $20.00 per day

• Full course (10 days): $380.00 ($38.00 per day)

About Lama Choedak Rinpoche

Born in Tibet, Lama Choedak Rinpoche trained within the Sakya lineage, where he engaged in a traditional three-and-a-half-year solitary retreat sponsored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. With more than four decades of teaching experience, Rinpoche offers guidance that is firmly grounded in authentic lineage, yet expressed with clarity and warmth for contemporary practitioners.
