Intention to Action Clinic - Senior Leader Engagement
Event description
To take effective climate action within a business, it is essential that senior leaders are actively engaged and on board. Their support is crucial to unlocking the resources needed and embedding a commitment to making changes across the organisation.
Whilst robust and transparent climate action offers many benefits, senior leaders can have competing priorities, time constraints, and limited climate knowledge. These challenges can create barriers for employees eager to drive progress.
In our Intention to Action Clinic on 22 October, participants will gain an understanding of how best to engage senior leaders in climate action. James Durie (Purposeful Insight) will provide a comprehensive overview of the barriers and opportunities to engage senior leaders. We will also learn from the first-hand experience of Karen Higgins (Head of ESG at Clarke Willmott).
Participants will then have the chance to explore this topic in depth in small groups and look at how to tackle some of the specific challenges they are facing.
To facilitate small group discussions the workshop has limited capacity. We will be prioritising organisations that are currently facing challenges related to this topic or hoping to take action in the coming year.
Please register your interest by midday on Monday 7 October. We will then let you know if you have a place at the workshop by 5pm on Monday 14 October.
