When darkness falls and the crowds disappear, Old Government House, Parramatta transforms into something altogether different. Australia’s oldest public building becomes a place of shadows, whispered stories, and lingering echoes from the past.

For those seeking something a little more immersive — and a little more unsettling — this late-night Interactive Ghost Tour offers a unique blend of history, storytelling, and paranormal experimentation.

Led by costumed guides, guests will move through the dimly lit halls of Old Government House in small groups of just 13 people, hearing the stories of convicts, servants, governors, and grieving families who once walked these corridors.

But this is far more than a traditional ghost tour.

Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to take part in a range of interactive paranormal experiences designed to place YOU inside the story. Using techniques inspired by modern paranormal investigation, participants may experiment with ghost hunting methods, take part in immersive vigils, and engage directly with the atmosphere and history of the house itself.
