Step back in time as you wander the haunted corridors of Australia's oldest surviving public building, where the past is anything but peaceful!

Meet some of the colourful characters who once called this grand estate home. Some are charming. Some are peculiar. Some may have lost their minds entirely.

And then there are the other inhabitants...

Those who have no intention of leaving, absolutely no respect for personal space, and a rather wicked sense of humour!

Expect a deliciously entertaining mixture of history, mystery, mischief and mayhem, with plenty of laughs, unexpected encounters and a few heart-stopping jump scares along the way.

Our theatrical ghost tours bring history to life (and perhaps a few other things back from the dead!) through costumed characters, storytelling, unexpected surprises and plenty of spooky fun.

But beware! Not everyone you encounter in this grand old house is necessarily part of the household...

After all, who said history had to be boring?

THIS IS A THEATRICAL GHOST TOUR FEATURING ACTORS, STAGED SCARES AND SUDDEN SURPRISES.

Unlike our traditional ghost tours, this experience is designed to entertain, amuse and occasionally frighten you!

Throughout the evening, you may encounter:

• Costumed actors portraying historical and fictional characters.

• Actors appearing unexpectedly from concealed locations.

• Sudden jump scares and deliberately frightening encounters.

• Loud noises, screams and theatrical sound effects.

• Darkened rooms, atmospheric lighting and unsettling scenes.

• Paranormal-themed storytelling mixed with historical facts and theatrical fiction.

Please be aware that some scares may occur without warning.

This experience may not be suitable for anyone who is particularly sensitive to sudden loud noises, darkness, frightening imagery or unexpected encounters.

This is a theatrical entertainment experience, NOT a paranormal investigation.

Terms and Conditions

1. Nature of the Event

This is a theatrical ghost tour involving actors, historical character portrayals, fictional elements and intentionally staged scares. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of this experience.

2. Jump Scares and Theatrical Effects

Guests should expect sudden appearances by actors, loud noises, unexpected movements, darkened environments and other theatrical effects intended to surprise or frighten.

By attending, you acknowledge that these elements form an integral part of the experience.

3. Personal Responsibility and Safety

For the safety of guests, performers and the historic property:

• Running, pushing or deliberately frightening other guests is strictly prohibited.

• Guests must not touch, grab, strike or interfere with actors, props or other participants.

• Guests must remain with their tour guide and follow all instructions.

• Guests must not enter restricted areas or wander away from the tour.

• Guests must respect the historic building, furnishings and displays at all times.

Anyone behaving in a manner that places themselves or others at risk may be removed from the event without a refund.

4. Health and Accessibility Considerations

This experience involves walking, standing, dim lighting and sudden theatrical scares.

Guests with medical conditions or sensitivities that may be affected by sudden frights, loud noises or darkness should carefully consider whether this event is suitable for them.

5. Appropriate Footwear

Enclosed, comfortable footwear is strongly recommended. High heels and unsuitable footwear should be avoided.

6. Children and Supervision

Children must meet the minimum age requirement specified for the event (14 years). Any permitted minors must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the tour.

7. Alcohol and Intoxication

Guests who appear intoxicated or are behaving inappropriately may be refused entry or removed from the tour without a refund.

8. Tickets, Cancellations and Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, inability to attend or failure to read the event description, except where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law.

Please ensure you understand that this is a theatrical experience featuring actors and jump scares before purchasing.

If APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours cancels the event, ticket holders will be advised of the available options in accordance with applicable consumer law.

9. Event Changes

APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the tour route, performers, scenes or theatrical elements where necessary for operational, safety or heritage protection reasons.

10. Acknowledgement of Event Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read and understood the event description, theatrical warning and terms and conditions.

There will be actors. There will be jump scares. There may be screams.

Some of them might even be yours.
