Event description

Uniting Church and the Uniting Fair Treatment campaign invite you to participate in an interfaith prayer service for people experiencing drug and alcohol dependency. Join us for a powerful gathering of people from different faiths and backgrounds, united in our commitment to justice and treatment for people experiencing drug dependency and their families. Whether you are a member of faith community or simply someone who cares about justice and treatment for people experiencing drug dependency, you are welcome to join us. We look forward to seeing you there!

Speakers include the Moderator of the Uniting Church NSW.ACT, people with lived experience, and leaders representing the Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths.

Together, we will create a space for reflection, healing, and action. We believe that by coming together and sharing our stories, we can build a stronger community and work towards a more just and compassionate world.

If you would like more information regarding the event, please contact Mikayla Prout at mprout@uniting.org.
