    This course is for sewers with some previous experience.

    Participants will learn how to redesign with reclaimed materials and fashion off-cuts, learning to create beautiful designs. 

    During the course, participants will be given the opportunity to make and create:

    -  skirts with pockets/or a top

    - items upcycled from existing clothing/your wardrobe

    - an otterman

    - You will also be able to bring in unfinished projects to work on and finish under the guidance of our experienced teacher.

    Participants should bring their own sewing machine (if you have one!), all other textiles and materials will be provided.

    The Re-Creators are on a mission to teach New Zealand how to upcycle, reduce, and reuse our resources, to share skills in reimagining 'waste' as creative opportunities! It's not only creative and sustainable but also easy and fun too!

    Parking: 

    We have three on-site carparks available for your convenience. Additionally, on-street parking surrounds the venue, and the Massey Leisure Centre is situated across the road. To ensure good neighbourly relations, kindly refrain from parking in spaces designated for our neighbours.
