International Women's Day Luncheon

Join Zonta Club of Caboolture for a fun way to celebrate International Women's Day 2024 at the Norths League & Services Club, Kallangur, doors open at 10:30 am. Our luncheon theme is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. Our program features a special guest speaker, Dr Erica Mealy, from the University of the Sunshine Coast and the presentation of the Sandra Cooke STEM award of $1000 to the successful applicant.

Our theme:
The 2024 International Women's Day theme is 'DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality'. This theme focuses on how technology and education in the digital age can help to empower women and girls across the world. We will also explore how to protect the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and how to combat online gender-based violence.
During International Women's Day many experts from the fields of technology and innovation, as well as gender equality activists, will come together to discuss how to improve access to digital tools and bridge the digital skills divide. This will help to make sure that all people have equal access to digital technology and the opportunities it provides.
Our intentions:
Support Zonta Club of Caboolture, gather your friends for a wonderful way to celebrate women and girls in our local Moreton Bay region, Australia and the world. This function is a social function enabling women to connect and stand together for the betterment of women. The ticket price covers all expenses to run the event. Zonta Club of Caboolture uses the money raised from raffle sales to support future projects to improve the lives of women and girls in our local area.
