Newcastle's International Careers Expo - register as a business to connect with:
International students currently studying at the University of Newcastle, TAFE NSW, or College of International Education
Refugees and migrants living in the Newcastle region seeking employment opportunities
This event is funded by Study NSW, in partnership with The City of Newcastle, the University of Newcastle, TAFE NSW, College of International Education, Business Hunter, Mosaic Multicultural Connections, Training Services NSW, Genu Training, Hunter Local Jobs, and Refugee Education Australia. Together, we're committed to ensuring international students, refugees, and migrants have real pathways to employment success in our region.
Whether they're looking for work to support their studies, seeking graduate opportunities, or planning their career in Australia, this day is designed with their success in mind.
The event aims to:
Highlight local career and training opportunities - connect international students, refugees and migrants with local employers and businesses, support them in applying for employment opportunities and discuss upcoming jobs.
Create valuable networking connections with local Multicultural support services, community services, training providers and employment providers.
Engage in meaningful, face-to-face discussions and interactive workshop sessions.
Support attendees with resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profiling and more!

Date: Monday 23rd March 2026
Time: Event Opens 10AM - 3PM Finish
Businesses can bump in/set up the Friday prior (March 20th) from 3PM OR bump in/set up 8AM event day (March 23rd)
Location: The Great Hall, University of Newcastle - Callaghan College
This event is no cost (for businesses or attendees)
Free all-day food and coffee!
REGISTER as one of the following:
Exhibitor (host a table/stall in The Great Hall) - table and chairs provided
Workshop/breakout session facilitator - host a 30 min session of max 50 people presenting on your services/opportunities (please register prior to Feb 26th if you wish to facilitate a session)
Exhibitor AND Workshop session facilitator
Please note - if you register as a breakout session presenter - this does not guarantee or confirm you will be facilitating a breakout session - the team will contact you to confirm.
