⚔️ THE ART OF SABRAGE — $190
Your bottle. Your sabre. Your moment.
Ready to do more than watch?
Book one of a strictly limited number of Art of Sabrage experiences.
I’ll personally guide you through the history and science behind sabrage, the technique, the safety — and then it’s over to you.
Your friends become your judging panel.
They’ll be watching for:
STYLE — stance, confidence and technique
SCIENCE — were you actually listening?
APLOMB — composure under Champagne pressure
FOLLOW-THROUGH — no hesitation now
FLOURISH — because how you finish matters
Then, once the deed is done, your bottle is yours to share with your friends.
Your $190 Sabrage Experience includes:
• Admission to the full International Champagne Day event
• A welcome glass of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne
• Your own bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne to saber and share
• Personal instruction and guidance from The Champagne Goddess
• Your reserved Sabrage Session
• The adoration — or merciless scoring — of your chosen judging panel
No previous experience required.
In fact, first-timers are positively encouraged.

ABOUT THE CHAMPAGNE GODDESS
Susan Le Roux is the Champagne Goddess — a WSET Level III Champagne educator, presenter and storyteller who brings the history, people, culture and extraordinary stories of Champagne to life.
Her philosophy is simple:
Champagne should be fascinating, celebratory — and never intimidating.
Description
COMING NEXT: THE SPECIALIST CHAMPAGNE COURSE
Enjoyed your taste of Champagne?
This evening is also your introduction to Susan’s new six-week Specialist Champagne Course, beginning Thursday 29 October at Bonnibel.
Think Champagne course meets book club - with considerably better refreshments.
Over six Thursday evenings, we’ll taste, talk, learn and explore Champagne together — its regions, grapes, producers, history, extraordinary women and, naturally, the wines themselves.
Expressions of Interest are now open, and will be closing a few days after International Champagne Day. Contact the Host Susan Le Roux for more information.
