Often considered "the breadbasket of Europe", Ukraine is known for its uniquely fertile black soil producing grains and cereals that are central to its cuisine. Learn how to make delicious, hearty Ukrainian comfort food with Nataliia in this cooking demonstration and tasting.

In this cooking class, you'll learn how to cook:

🔪Ukrainian Borscht (Meat or Vegetarian option)

🔪Healthy winter salad "Vinaigrette"

🔪Sweet desert "Chvorost"

Originally from Ukraine, Nataliia moved to New Zealand around 20 years ago. Now residing in a rural area near Te Awamutu, this retired Science Teacher is passionate about gardening, particularly growing fruits and vegetables and has a regular stall at the Raglan Growers Market.

You'll get a chance to savor the food made in front of you and take home the recipes to share with your friends and family, too!

Tickets are $20 (no booking fee) and numbers are limited to 15 people.
