International Day of People with Disability - All Abilities Sports Day
Event description
Every year on 3 December, people around the world take part in International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). It is a day to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in our community.
There are many ways you can get involved and part of creating and inclusive and diverse community in Australia.
Mildura Rural City Council, Mildura Sporting Precinct, Intereach, Lime Therapy, Mallee Sport Assembly, RIAC, Ability 2 Aspire, WeKare, Lifely, Sunrise Medical, Country Care, RGK and Mildura Basketball are hosting a Free Event:
All Abilities Sports Day for International Day of People with Disability.
Sports available on the day: Wheelchair Basketball, Sitting Volley Ball, Netball, Pickleball, Racquetball/Squash, Badminton, Futsal/Soccer.
When: Tuesday 3rd December 2024 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Where: Mildura Sporting Precinct, 684 Deakin Avenue.
BBQ lunch provided.
Lunch Entertainment including: EnviroEDU , Sensory Tent and more.
