Guide Dogs Tasmania invite you to join us for an entertaining evening at Frida's Sip n' Paint Launceston, to celebrate our life-changing Guide, Assistance, Facility and Companion Dogs for International Guide Dog Day. With raffles, a lucky door prize and merchandise available this is sure to be an event not to miss.
Frida's Sip n' Paint boast a beautiful workshop environment with highly trained and talented staff to host our evening of fun, creativity and friendship. Attendees will have the opportunity to paint their beloved pets or favourite animal - a master piece your whole family will enjoy. The session is BYO friendly, Frida's welcome you to bring along your favourite snacks and beverages to assist in fuelling your creative energy.
Guide Dogs Tasmania is the only state-based provider of Guide Dog services in the community, with local instructors available to provide ongoing support and aftercare. Our Guide and Assistance Dogs provide people with so much more than independence, freedom and inclusion. They become loyal and loved companions, who bring joy, hope and opportunity, not only to the people whose lives they are changing, but also to their families.
It costs more than $50,000 and takes two years to raise, train, match and provide ongoing support to every dog that joins our training program. Guide Dogs Tasmania relies on the support of the community to provide these life-changing services to Tasmanians in need.
