Dads, sons, brothers, blokes, fellas, dudes, husbands, and grand-dads - bring your partners, family and friends to join us for our major annual fundraiser, our International Men's Day Breakfast for 2025. Our theme for IMD2025 is Supporting Men and Boys.
Join us from 7.00 am for a 7.30 start to our IMD breakfast on Wednesday 19 November, 2025 at the RACV Hotel, Collins St Hobart.
Tickets for General Admission, Concession and Stallholders available.
If your organisation would like to host a stall at the event, there are also Stallholder tickets available, which include breakfast for one.
About International Men's Day
Men from diverse populations in Australia and across the world also face many challenges in terms of their health, wellbeing and livelihood.
International Men’s Day is an opportunity to shine a light on challenges men face, to promote the benefits of gender equity for all. To champion male role models and the great work being done in the community to make the world a better place for everyone. Most importantly, the day is an opportunity to have fun and come together in the spirit of friendship.
Why we have an International Men's Day
Some people ask why we need an International Men's Day (IMD)? In Australia, IMD is a great opportunity to take part in a global conversation about manhood, masculinity and men's issues by:
highlighting some of the social issues important to men and boys, such as
the terrible suicide rates affecting men
poorer education outcomes amongst boys
the value and importance of fatherhood
making a difference for men and boys in ways that bring benefit to the whole community
celebrating men and boys in all their diversity
having some fun and building connections.
