Men's Resources Tasmania's International Men's Day Breakfast brings the Tasmanian community together to mark a day that matters: a chance to celebrate the positive contributions of men and boys, hear from people with lived experience, and connect with others who care about male health and wellbeing. It's a morning of good conversation and genuine connection, open to community leaders, policy makers, service providers, and anyone with a stake in the wellbeing of men and boys in Tasmania.

Beyond the morning itself, the event helps fund MRT's work as Tasmania's peak body for men's health, and gives sponsors and attendees a direct way to build relationships with decision-makers, share practical resources, and recognise the people and programs making a difference. About International Men's Day

Some people ask why we need an International Men's Day (IMD)? In Australia, IMD is a great opportunity to take part in a global conversation about manhood, masculinity and men's issues by:

highlighting some of the social issues important to men and boys, such as
- the terrible suicide rates affecting men
- poorer education outcomes amongst boys
- the value and importance of fatherhood
making a difference for men and boys in ways that bring benefit to the whole community
celebrating men and boys in all their diversity
having some fun and building connections.
