If you already have advanced skills in any sign language and want to broaden your communication toolkit, this one-day online workshop is for you. Designed for sign language interpreters, translators, and anyone who regularly uses sign language, this practical session will help you develop your International Sign (IS) skills for basic conversation and informal international settings.

As more people from different countries and signing backgrounds visit or move to the UK, having some knowledge of IS helps you connect and communicate in both professional and social situations. It’s also a great skill for travel, international conferences, or working at events with diverse Deaf communities. • Getting Started with International Sign: Understand how International Sign works and learn practical strategies for communicating across language and cultural barriers.
