This event shines a spotlight on the unique challenges faced by women in marginalised communities, including refugees and culturally diverse groups. It explores sexual assault, domestic abuse, and sexual health as interconnected barriers to women’s safety, empowerment, and equality.

As part of International Women’s Day 2025 and its theme, “March Forward – Turn Promises into Progress,” this event will:

Discuss Critical Issues: A panel of experts will address systemic barriers perpetuating inequality and violence, focusing on culturally sensitive and actionable solutions.
Share Resilience Stories: In conversation with Anyier Yuol, hear from Noor Azizah, a Rohingya woman, genocide survivor, and advocate for refugees.
Participate in interactive activities and speed networking to connect with like-minded individuals.
