Northern Beaches Council will be hosting a breakfast on Friday 7 March to celebrate International Women's Day at the Manly Pacific. You are invited to join us for a delicious breakfast with guest speakers, networking opportunities and a special event raffle with proceeds going to local women's charities.

Event timings

  • 6.30 - 6.55am: Check-in, receive a complimentary barista coffee on arrival
  • 7 - 9am: Breakfast with guest speakers in the Pacific Ballroom
  • 9 - 10am: Optional networking hour in the Lobby Bar

All guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable coffee cup.

Guest speakers

We welcome Sally Douglas and Imogen Carn, co-founders of Good Mourning. With over 1 million podcast downloads and a social media community of 150,000+, these best-selling authors and sought-after speakers will explore how vulnerability, connection and open dialogue can transform our lives and communities.

Sally and Imogen will discuss breaking down mental health stigmas, building resilience, and the power of meaningful connections in fostering empathy and stronger relationships. Don’t miss this inspiring session designed to spark change and celebrate the strength of community.

With ties to the Northern Beaches, we’re thrilled to have Sally and Imogen at this year’s International Women’s Day Breakfast.
