International Women’s Day Breakfast 2026 – Friday 6 March
International Women's Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
Northern Beaches Council will be hosting its annual breakfast on Friday 6 March to celebrate International Women's Day at the Manly Pacific Hotel. You are invited to join us for breakfast, hear from an engaging guest speaker and support local women's charities.
Raffle tickets
You have the option to pre-purchase raffle tickets online when buying your event ticket. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Northern Beaches charities - Women & Children First and Northern Beaches Women's Shelter.
Raffle tickets are for event attendees only. Prizes will be drawn at the event, if you are not present the prize will be redrawn.
Event timings
6.30 - 6.55am: Check-in, receive a complimentary barista coffee on arrival
7 - 9am: Breakfast with guest speaker in the Pacific Ballroom
All guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable coffee cup.
Guest speaker
Dr Ceri Cashell | We welcome Dr Ceri Cashell a specialist GP, medical writer, researcher, speaker and leading advocate for women’s health equity. She is the co-founder of Healthy Hormones , Australia’s largest medically moderated menopause education app and clinician-training platform, and the doctor behind So Hot Right Now, a world-first menopause event that brought midlife health to centre stage at the Sydney Opera House. Dr Ceri is known for translating complex science into clear, accessible, evidence-based information that empowers women and challenges outdated medical thinking. Through her clinical practice, research, national advocacy, writing, public speaking, Healthy Hormones, and large-scale event leadership, she is reframing how Australia understands menopause and supporting women to thrive in midlife and beyond. |
