You're invited to our Charity Gala Cocktail event to raise awareness and much needed funds to create sustainable resources to deliver our program. Join us for cocktails, nibbles and a live auction together with a silent auction, raffles, guest speaker and more! Dress to Express!

In 2022, Girl Guides Tasmania, Laurel House and Women's' Legal Service Tasmania embarked on a collaboration to deliver an innovative program of work that is designed to promote the safety of girls and women. This collaboration brings together three vital Tasmanian charities with a common purpose- gender equality and a life free from violence for all Tasmanian girls and women via education and empowerment. It's our goal to deliver this program- Consent & Respect across Tasmania to over 400 girls and their families in 2023 and more beyond.

Thanks to the generosity of My State Bank, Hydro Tasmania, and Devonport City Council, we’ve secured grant funding for service delivery of the program and the purpose of our #IWD2023 Gala events is to raise awareness and much needed funds to broaden the delivery of this program, to create sustainable resources, and to support the establishment of further programs.

Thank you for your consideration and support.
