International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.

A challenged world is an alert world.

Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.

We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements.

Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge.

I recently attended a #bucketlist workshop with Leanne Blaney and had a lot of fun in the workshop. It really gave me a fresh perspective on how I choose to do things for myself, with my family and how it is that adding excitement into our lives with a more structure or strategic view will enhance our outlook on life and the fun we create wonderful memories from.
