International Womens Day Fundraiser for the School of St Jude, Tanzania

A fundraising dinner is being held for the School of St Jude in Tanzania and its founder, Gemma Sisia, and her alumni, will speak about this amazing school whose motto is 'Fighting Poverty through Education'. After opening the school over 23 years ago, the enrolment is now 1800 sponsored students and many students in higher education. Come and hear Gemma's amazing story of developments, successes, challenges and personal stories. A feature of this fundraiser is a silent art auction of artworks created by talented School of St Jude students. A selection of canvases and prints from the school's art gallery will be  on sale and proceeds of sales will go towards the education of poor students in Arusha, Tanzania.
