Guildhouse and Country Arts SA are hosting a community event at Nautilus Arts Centre to celebrate, gather and share collectively as part of the Intersection Regional Tour.
Delivered in partnership by Guildhouse and Country Arts SA, Intersection aims to strengthen professional arts practice with remote and regional creatives by celebrating the creativity in South Australia’s regions. This program is a foundation that grows and showcases regional creatives' valuable and dynamic experiences.
This relaxed Community Event is a way for artists, arts-lovers and members of the community based in Port Lincoln and surrounds to come together, connect and network.
Come chat with the team from Guildhouse and Country Arts SA and celebrate the creativity of the region!
Providing space and a place for collective exchange; the event will feature an informal artist talk with local artist Emma Fuss sharing her experiences of being a regional artist.
Come listen, connect, and share with lived experiences, delicious light snacks and enjoying excellent company! A friendly event open to all people, practitioners and ages, we welcome you to join us.

About the Speakers
Emma Fuss
From her studio set in bushland on South Australia’s remote Eyre Peninsula, Emma Fuss draws on her love of Australian botanicals and her flower garden, her collection of vintage fabrics and the simplicity of household items, bringing together the gentle natural forms of the bush with the raw, chaotic beauty of family life. Finding joy in nature, Emma’s work is strongly informed by her own garden; gardening and painting woven together into a unified creative process of tending, nurturing and making. In 2024-25, Emma was the recipient of a Guildhouse Catapult mentorship, working with internationally renowned artist Lori Pensini for a period of eight months. The resulting body of work marks an evolution in Emma’s practice – a quiter and more contemplative exploration of form, composition, and presence. Emma has a Bachelor of Visual Communication from the University of South Australia, and her work is informed by her years as a practicing graphic designer and illustrator. Her work is held in private collections both within Australia and internationally. She is a three-time winner of the Port Lincoln Art Prize, and she has an established and loyal following within South Australia and beyond.
