Join the Shire of SJ Skill Up Program designed exclusively for young individuals ages 12 to 24! 

These courses are free and will elevate your skills and boost our qualifications to help you succeed in the job market! 

An easy-to-understand workshop giving young participants insider tips, confidence and simple strategies to be more successful when attending an interview.

  • Explains what an employer expects from you and how to enhance your performance.

  • Shows you how to develop your interview strategy – Research, Plan & Prepare!

  • Explains how to communicate effectively – Do’s & Don’ts.

  • Describes the various types of interviews - Digital, Phone, Face to Face & Assessment Centres.

  • Breaks down ‘Behavioural style questions’ and explains how to answer tricky questions.

  • Suggests some relevant questions you may want to ask during the interview.

  • Provides suggestions on the importance of following up after an interview.
