Into the Wild – A Somatic Dance Journey

Into the Wild is a somatic dance experience that invites you to drop out of the mind and into the wisdom of your animal body — the part of you that knows how to shake, growl, spiral, and soften.

This is a space to move beyond choreography, to let your body lead, and to return to the rhythm that is uniquely yours.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to be fully alive in the body — raw, real, and instinctual.

We’re excited to be co-creating this journey with Bree, who will be DJing her very first set after completing her somatic dance facilitator training. Bree brings deep presence, care, and creative flow to her music, and her sound will guide us through waves of release, sensation, and freedom.

About Ceri (Soularliving):

Ceri is a 200hr trained Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher, a 200hr eco-somatic yoga guide, and a 300hr somatic dance facilitator, offering regular dance events in Wānaka.

She is currently studying Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) and will complete her training by the end of 2025.

Ceri is passionate about weaving together her love of nature, somatics, and community to create spaces for expression, healing, and embodied aliveness.
