Books: After the presentation, attendees are welcome to purchase a book and/or get their book signed outside of the Tansky Family Commons.
Pre-registration: Closes on Thursday, 5/28, at 12 PM. Pre-registered attendees will receive priority seating. Walk-ins are welcome if capacity allows.
Special Note: Registrants must be 18 years old or older or accompanied by a guardian for all programs at Hillman Library at the University of Pittsburgh.

Description
Explore the beauty and natural wonder found across Pennsylvania, while also examining what has been lost and the efforts to restore balance. Tory Mather and Andrew Moore will highlight reasons to get outside and the unlikely comeback of wildlife across the east.
Author Biography
Tory Mather has explored hundreds of trails, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and more in the over a decade since she moved to Pennsylvania. You can find her living in Pittsburgh with her husband and her rescue dog or making fun of herself on the internet @torytalkstrails. This is her first book.
Andrew Moore is the author of Pawpaw: In Search of America’s Forgotten Fruit, which was a James Beard Foundation Award nominee in Writing & Literature. His work has appeared in the Washington Post, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and The Daily Yonder. He lives in Pittsburgh. His new book, The Beasts of the East: The Fall and Rise of America's Eastern Wilderness will be published on June 2nd.
Moderator Biography
For 28 years, Hoover was the award-winning book and drama editor and feature writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. His duties included reviewing books, plays, movies and television programs and profiling national and local authors and poets. He established a weekly poetry column, wrote a weekly column on books and produced a Sunday literary section.
