    Intro to Clown

    Event description

I'm sure by now you know a clown in Los Angeles. I apologize. I don't know who keeps lettin' em loose. Clown is wild, it's exhilarating, it's revealing. At it's core, Clown is merely improvising and the audience are your other players. It's skill tree is never ending and deeply applicable to any and all mediums. Get ready to explore that psyche of yours and unlock some new energy you may not have known existed or perhaps you just lost touch with. All jokes aside, for once, we'll create a safe yet daring space where the only failure you'll experience is not showing up for class.

    About the instructor:

Jenson Titus is a queer, latinx clown in Los Angeles. A graduate of the Pig Iron School in Philadelphia, Jenson has spent the past decade collaborating and creating his own work with the oh so beautiful clown community in LA. He has an extensive training background in Lecoq, Stanislavski, and Clown. His main goal as a teacher is to make sure you understand the work and can apply it directly to what you're making on your own. He wants you to leave feeling empowered. And stupid. So stupid and dumb.
