Sew fun for kids! is a place to learn all about sewing while making fun projects that you can take home and treasure.

In this Intro to Cross Stitch school holiday workshop you will learn how to make either a set of wooden wall art pieces or a matching pouch necklace and earrings.

The wooden wall art pieces are suitable for ages 5 and up.

The necklace and earrings are suitable for ages 8 and up.

You will learn how to:

- how to cross stitch

- create your own painted wall art or jewellery set.

All fabrics and accessories are included.

You will need to bring along a packed afternoon tea and water bottle. Please do not include any food items that contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Please note: we also have a morning workshop available where you can learn to sew a simple tulle skirt and paint a bag.

if you are booking for both the morning and afternoon workshop, please bring along a packed lunch as well to eat between the workshops.

Sew fun for kids! accepts Service NSW Creative Kids vouchers.

If you would like to use a voucher, select the Creative Kids voucher ticket. The ticket price will be reduced to reflect the use of the $50 voucher. You will also be required to enter:

- the voucher number

- your child's name

- your child's date of birth.

All of these details are required for me to register your voucher.

If you have a gift certificate, please select the gift certificate ticket.

A minimum of 4 children are required for the workshop to go ahead.

The workshops run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at 4/31 Terminus St, Castle Hill. Our studio has an internal toilet so children do not need to leave the studio during the day.

Please note, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the workshop as we will have purchased all of the fabrics and accessories for your child. In the event you are unable to attend we are very happy to provide you with the fabric kit and pattern instructions for you to pick up from the studio and create at home.
