Intro to Havening
Description
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and having practical ways to regulate our emotional state can make a meaningful difference in how we navigate difficult moments.
In this interactive workshop, certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner and life coach Hamada Eleleimy will introduce Havening, a psychosensory approach that combines gentle touch, attention and imagination and can be used as a self-help tool for stress management and emotional wellbeing.
Rather than simply talking about the technique, participants will be guided through a group Self-Havening exercise and have an opportunity to experience it for themselves. The workshop will focus on simple practices that can be used to help settle the nervous system, create a greater sense of calm and support emotional regulation during periods of stress.
The session is gentle and participatory, but there is no requirement to discuss or disclose personal experiences. Participants can engage at whatever level feels comfortable for them and leave with a practical technique they can continue to explore and use for themselves.
