Intro to Lino Printing with Sarvika Mishra
Event description
Join Sarvika Mishra for a relaxed, creative introduction to the world of lino and monoprinting.
Across three after-work sessions, you'll learn the foundations of printmaking, experiment with colour and texture, and create a series of prints to take home. Perfect for beginners and anyone looking to unwind and explore a hands-on artform after a busy day.
You'll explore both monoprinting and relief carving, gaining an understanding of positive and negative space and how simple marks can create bold, expressive results. Expect a supportive, playful studio environment where experimentation is encouraged and no prior experience is expected.
Sarvika holds a Bachelor of Media Arts (Hons) from UNSW, where she majored in digital installation and design and minored in printmaking with a focus on relief and etching techniques. She is passionate about sharing creative skills and supporting community art-making.
