Level: Beginner 

In this hands-on workshop, learn how to design, carve and print an ‘ezy carve’ lino block by hand onto paper and fabric. You will take home a lino block, a set of carving tools, a collection of prints on paper, and the skills to continue carving and printing at home. All printmaking materials included in the cost of the workshop. 

Please bring: 

  • An image measuring 7x10cm

  • Gloves to prevent inky fingers

  • Apron/Protective shirt or wear clothing appropriate for an art workshop

  • A folder or bag to take prints home in (newsprint provided for interleaving)

  • Pen, pencil, eraser, note book for drawing & note taking, any other additional stationary items that you may require  

Please note that this workshop incudes the use of shared materials such as rollers and hand printing tools. You will also be sharing the space with others including shared inking and printing stations.

Tea, coffee and snacks are available for purchase at the art centre from 10am.
