Intro to Lomi Lomi Massage

Come and enjoy a beautiful afternoon learning the basics of Lomi Lomi massage.

This workshop is experiential - you will be giving & receiving massage, so you will get to practice the tools presented & experience what they feel like as the receiver. We will be practicing in groups of 3, so when you receive you will have 4 hands working on your body :) 

No previous experience of massage or energy work is required, all welcome. 

So what is Lomi Lomi...?

Lomi Lomi, also called Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork, is a type of massage using lots of oil, and long, flowing strokes up, down, over and under the body. It is a deeply meditative and blissful experience for both the giver and the receiver.

In this 3 hour introductory workshop, you will:
- Discover the key principles to activating and cultivating loving touch
- Learn a simple practice to prepare your mind, body, and hands before giving a massage
- Witness a short live demo of Lomi Lomi massage (enough to give you the idea so you can practice yourself!)
- Practice giving and receiving Lomi in small groups

* Please note when receiving Lomi Lomi you will be nude, with genitals covered at all times by a sarong. For this workshop we will only work on the back of the body only (so breasts will not be exposed).

What to bring:
- Bottle of water
- Notebook and pen
- A SARONG (I will have a few spares but definitely not enough for everyone)
- Most importantly, an open heart and a willingness to open even more

About me: I am a level 4 Lomi Lomi practitioner, trained under world renown bodyworker Nisarga Eryk Dobosz. I have been offering sessions professionally since early 2018, and my love for Lomi deepens with every client that I see. I LOVE touch and am super passionate about the power of touch to deeply soothe the soul, nourish the heart and inspire our deepest potential for a fulfilled, balanced, joyful life.
