About Brad:
Brad is a dad to four beautiful girls, who - after 20 years of a sedentary and very unhealthy lifestyle - made the decision to get healthy and fit.
"Starting out with no major goals in mind, I soon found an enjoyment in the suffering and passion for endurance sports. I quickly ramped up my training over the course of one year from running my first ever 5k in 2019, to finding a coach and completing my first ever 100km ultra marathon under goal time in early 2020. A dozen or so ultra marathons followed (furthest to date being a 100 miler) amongst periods of injury and recovery, learning to swim and completing triathlons up to 70.3 distance, and discovering a love for hiking and time out in the wilderness.
I've made plenty of mistakes to learn from along the way, overcome depression, and have had some incredible experiences. I want to encourage anyone who think they might like to try out endurance sports of any kind, to come along and find out how welcoming and supportive this community really is."
