Event description

Join Rewa Grimsdale for an introduction to raranga/flax weaving. Learn how to harvest harakeke (NZ flax) according to tikanga Māori, and techniques to make putiputi (flowers), a piupiu tag, and a small kete.

This is an all ages workshop with space for caregivers to relax and enjoy a cuppa in our lounge area.
