Description

Discover the fascinating qualities of Silverpoint, a drawing medium favoured during the Middle-Ages and Renaissance by old masters such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Albrecht Durer. Participants will create an original Silverpoint drawing of a leaf onto a prepared board that will develop warm brown tones as it ages. Beginners welcome.

Each attendee will receive a silver drawing pencil and learn how to continue using this medium beyond the classroom.

Notes:

  • All art materials will be provided. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

  • Making art can be messy, please wear old clothes or an apron.
