Join ASCCA for a practical and engaging Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Older People, held in Darwin. This free, beginner-friendly session is designed especially for seniors who want to understand what AI is, how it works, and how it can support them in both everyday life and community roles.
Who:
Presented by ASCCA Director Deborah Martin and Lead Digital Mentor Natika Hawes-Wright, this workshop will guide participants through the essentials of AI in plain, accessible language. Deborah and Natika specialise in helping older Australians build digital confidence and skills in a safe, inclusive environment.

Hands-On Demos: Explore easy-to-use tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, Canva AI, Claude, and Perplexity, with real-life examples tailored to seniors.
Safety & Ethics: Understand the risks, how to check information, and what AI can’t do.
Getting Started: Learn how to access AI tools, with or without a paid account, and how to personalise them for your needs.
