In this workshop you will learn skills associated with general bird care:
- The basics of rescuing birds
- The examination of a bird
- How to determine if a bird is dehydrated and how to correct it
- Various common illnesses in birds
- How to house birds
- How to look after sick and injured birds
- How to feed birds
- The diets, care and rehabilitation of granivores, insectivores, nectivores and carnivores
- How to avoid imprinting
- When and how to release birds
