Event description

Join comic book author and video game writer Christof Bogacs to celebrate Free Comic Book Day.

This introduction to comic book storytelling is designed to engage younger readers. If you are new to comics or already love them, this workshop explains how comics work, why they are so engaging and how to draw your own.

You will learn the power of combining words and pictures, how sequencing images changes their meaning and how gutters alter the way we perceive sequential images. This workshop culminates in you using everything you've learned to script and draw your own simple comics.
