INTRODUCTION TO FLAMENCO | 2 DAY COURSE | ALL WELCOME!!!

An introductory course, this course is open to all who want to  participate and aims to outline key essentials of this art to be able to distinguish Flamenco styles in a didactic way, through elements such as the compass, the literary structure, musical scales...

There will be sound examples, audiovisuals and we will do a short compass workshop.

ABOUT MANUEL

MANUEL VALENCIA (Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 1984), whose parents are gypsy, grew up under the protection of the guitar of his strong instructor, his Uncle Fernando Terremoto, and taught him to have an unconditional love for the instrument. Over the years, Manuel Valencia has developed qualities that make him exceptional. In the beginning, he accompanied the dance of María del Mar Moreno from Jerez and Rocío Molina from Malaga (National Dance Award).As a soloist, he debuted in 2010, at the Jerez Festival, achieving great success. Since his debut, he has accumulated extensive experience at national and international levels, which positions him as one of the most notable and solid performers on the current Flamenco scene. 

He has developed a new expressive form, marrying tradition and contemporaneity. He combines exquisite professionalism and tireless dedication to the study of the great masters of the guitar.Today, there are many prestigious artists who have requested collaboration: Vicente Soto 'Sordera', Tomasa 'La Macanita', Juana la del Pipa, José Mercé, Jesús Méndez, Gerardo Nuñez or Farruquito. Other collaborates include his Uncle, Fernando “Terremoto”, Pansequito and Manuel Agujetas.
