Join Inner West Council in partnership with Women and Girl's Emergency Centre for this FREE 1.5-hour overview information session that introduces the topic of gender-based violence.Â
What we'll cover:
- An introduction to domestic, family, sexual and gender-based violence (GBV) and coercive control
- The impacts of GBV
- Key concepts in the prevention of violence
- Practical tips and tools for people who want to take action, including key considerations for safety and self-care
- Referral pathways in the Inner West

This session is open to all members of the community aged 18+ years who work, live, study or play in the Inner West.Â
