Gender Equity Victoria (GEN VIC) is an independent member organisation representing over 50 organisations and 40+ individuals across Victoria who are dedicated to achieving intersectional gender equality. GEN VIC evolved from the Women’s Health Association of Victoria (WHAV), which was formed in 1994 as a peak body for the women’s health sector and expanded in 2018 to provide support to a growing gender equity movement across industries, communities and sectors. Our vision is for a gender equal society where all people can thrive.
