Upper Deep Creek Landcare Network invites you to a practical learning session to hear about the work of TreeProject and how you can get involved.

Landcare and TreeProject have a long-running collaboration to involve the community in planting millions of native plants across Victoria. TreeProject provides a unique volunteering opportunity for individuals to contribute to biodiversity by becoming growers from the comfort of their own backyard.

In this session you'll hear from TreeProject manager, Susi Milton, who will explain the ins and outs of becoming a grower and provide hands-on plant propagation training. Participants will be able to take their seedling home to grow and keep.

This event is suitable for all ages and is aimed at people who would like to know more about Landcare and environmental volunteering. We also welcome Landcare group members who would be interested in ordering plants through TreeProject for future revegetation projects.

No prior experience necessary. All information, training, equipment and ongoing guidance is provided for people who register to become growers.

Arrival and registrations from 10:15am, workshop start at 10:30 am. Lunch will be provided.
