Learn the method to effectively build, implement, and maintain a HACCP Food Safety Management System for your organization!
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation, and control of food safety hazards. HACCP is used and recognized by industry and regulators around the globe as an effective method for identifying food safety hazards and implementing appropriate controls to assure the safety of foods introduced into the supply chain. Through this 2-day course you will gain an understanding of HACCP principles and methods and be able to develop, implement, and maintain a HACCP Plan for your operations.

- Accredited by the International HACCP Alliance (IHA)
- In-person at Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
- Course duration: 2 days (16 total contact hours)
- Instructed by: accredited HACCP Lead Instructor Arlen Keller
- Presentation of the HACCP System curriculum
- Hands-on learning through exercises and classroom discussion
- Several quizzes to ensure understanding of the content and its application
- The development of a model HACCP Plan to provide student interaction and promote a deeper understanding of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point methodology
- Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded an accredited International HACCP Alliance Certificate of Training
About The Instructor:
FSQC Training Center’s Lead Instructor, Arlen Keller, has over 45 years of Food and Beverage Manufacturing experience. His experience includes everything from being an hourly worker on the plant floor, to production management, to laboratory analyst, to corporate regulatory, food safety, and quality systems management. Arlen uses his real world and hands-on experience to provide relevant content and instruction.
Arlen's Qualifications Include:
- Undergraduate Business Management Certificate from Pennsylvania State University
- Quality Auditing Certificate from Pennsylvania State University
- International HACCP Alliance Lead Instructor
- Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager

What's included with this course & Where does it take place?
This course is 2 days in duration(16 total contact hours) and taught LIVE, in-person for the dates/times listed. All attendees must be present for the entire course to receive a Certificate of Training and each attendee will be required to present a valid form of ID at the start of the course for verification.
All course materials are provided to you by FSQC including a HACCP Manual, Participant's Workbook, Model Company, Sample Forms, and a List of Resources to assist you in creating your food safety plan. All you need is a willingness to learn!

MCC is conveniently located central to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C. and is only a 10 minute drive from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). 1. What do I need for the event?
Just a willingness to learn! All necessary materials will be provided by Food Safety and Quality Consultants, LLC.

3. Is there group Registration?
Yes, there is! Simply select the number of tickets you are purchasing and click the "Continue" button. On the next page fill out your information as the buyer and click continue. In the next section there will be a form for each attendee's ticket (Ticket 1 [name, email, mobile, job title], Ticket 2 [name, email, mobile, job title], etc.) Enter each participant's details in the form and place your order.
All students must be individually registered in order to participate in the course and receive a Certificate of Training.
4. Is my registration/ticket transferable?
In order to receive your HACCP Certificate of Training, FSQC requires you to be present for the entire 2 days (16 hours) of the course. You cannot transfer your registration, or send someone in your place without first contacting FSQC Training Center and getting prior approval.
5. Course Cancellation:
Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, FSQC Training Center may need to cancel a scheduled course. If FSQC Training Center must cancel a scheduled course, our goal is to provide a two-week advanced notice of course cancellation. However, depending on circumstances, the two-week advanced notice cannot be guaranteed. FSQC Training Center issues a 100% refund for scheduled courses that are cancelled by FSQC Training Center. FSCQ Training Center may also make Loyalty discounts available to registrants of cancelled courses that allow you to register for another FSQC Training Center course offering at a discounted rate.
