    About the facilitator:

Hello, I'm Tamara. I am a student herbalist, workshop facilitator and permaculture teacher who began studying & immersing in the processes of grass-roots herbalism, Intuitive and Traditional Herbalism in 2019. Over the past 4 years, I have become immersed in both Permaculture & Herbalism grass-roots education/living and completed a Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine in 2022, and various Permaculture courses 2020-22. My recent approach to herbalism is informed by my Health Science studies, as well as curiosity surrounding themes of herbal ritual for a personal connection to land, and decolonizing herbalism.

Through my workshops, I aim to highlight the importance of learner-centred learning, skill sharing, personal connection to plants for healing, community-sufficiency building, as well as the joy that slow and simple home herbalism can bring to our daily lives.
