Welcome to Introduction to Improv for Confident Science Communication!

If you found this course, you are likely in the STEM-Improv Ven diagram. Congratulations!

You may be passionate about STEM topics, have studied it, be in a STEM career, or love sharing STEM stories with the world... or maybe you're on the improv side: having done or wanting to do improv to have fun, find community, and develop skills and confidence.

Whether you're a STEM-Folk or an improviser, you are invited to this STEM-Improv 4-week online course!

This is a bespoke course that combines improv foundations, games and exercises with communication skills training for people who love engaging with STEM.

Bespoke? Yes! This course has been developed after years of the facilitator, Dr Katherine Holmes, using applied improv in communications training. It features new and original improv exercises and methodology that you won't find anywhere else.

You don't need any experience in improv to join this course, and you will be well supported if this is your first time! Safety tools will be used in the sessions to ensure the space is comfortable and welcoming for everyone.
