Event description

Join respected Noongar Artist Donna Wiliams for an introduction to the Noongar art style that is synonymous with the Great Southern Region. Participants will have the opportunity to create a personal canvas, guided by Donna, an experienced artist and educator.

Creative Yarning Circle Workshops is a series of four cultural workshops facilitated by Gorenang Moortabiin, aimed at fostering community connection, cultural expression, and creative engagement. These workshops will serve as a platform to inform the community about the Fish Trap Sculpture Project, sharing the museum’s upcoming plans, and gather community feedback on the proposed plans.

The workshop series has been presented in collaboration and/or support from Regional Arts WA, the Western Australian Museum and Creative Australia.
